The Web site provides information and highlights particular interventions that parents may wish to explore to help their children succeed.

Reader Profile

Kids Enabled™ readers are parents who are in search of the much-needed resources to help their children succeed. In December 2004, the Georgia Department of Education reported approximately 181,000 students in grades K-12 currently are enrolled in special education, early intervention and remedial programs in the five-county Atlanta metro area public school systems. Also, 22 private schools that specialize in educating children with learning differences have a combined enrollment of approximately 1,200 students in grades K-12. These figures do not include the number of children who remain undiagnosed.
